Mazzer Grinders Mazzer Grinders

The Mazzer Robur is the flagship of the Mazzer grinder range. It has 71mm conical grinding burrs with a 900 watt motor that spins at 420rpm. Highly suited to very busy cafés who demand a lot from their equipment. This is the electronic model, so it features a programmable keypad for precise dosing.

Many people love the conical burrs and low RPM (rotations per minute) of the Mazzer Robur, which ensures the coffee is exposed to less heat and therefore hold its freshness longer. The conical burrs are preferred by many baristas for allowing the full and complex flavours to be preserved during the grinding process.

How Does A Mazzer Electronic Grinder Work?

The Mazzer Robur Electronic allows the barista to program a specific grind time for both a single and a double shot using the touch panel on top of the dosing chamber. The digital display on the panel shows your chosen shot time, as well as keeping record of total shots ground. The programmable single and double shot buttons can be set in .05 of a second increments.

It grinds directly into your portafilter for minimal waste.

With a powerful 900W motor turning at a very low speed, this grinder is quiet and powerful. The large 71mm conical burrs grind the coffee beans quickly, while the patented stepless grinding mechanism allows infinite grind adjustment.

The build quality on Mazzer coffee grinders has to be seen to be believed, and you can rely on this grinder to provide many years of reliable service.

We are an official Mazzer grinder distributor and so our grinders are shipped out from our own stock. We are therefore able to offer the lowest UK prices.

What Else Can You Tell Me About The Mazzer Robur?

The Mazzer Robur sits above the Kony in the range and is among the largest and most capable machines that they make. Intended purely for heavy commercial use, you are likely to see this make and model if you visit any branch of Costa Coffee, and there is no doubt that they are one of the best engineered coffee grinders in the world.

Mazzer grinders are particularly well suited to busy coffee shops thanks to their amazing reliability and industry-leading durability. There are businesses all over the world using Mazzer Robur thanks to the unbeatable balance between ultra-powerful grinder and price. The sleek and elegant design of the Robur guarantees it will take pride of place in your coffee shop or café without looking industrial or unattractive. On the contrary, it is a thing of beauty and something to be admired.

As with all models of Mazzer grinder, the infinite grind adjustment is able to cope with anything from a fine espresso to a coarser grind for cafetieres. Perhaps the most impressive feature of this grinder, however, is the immensely powerful 900w motor that turns at an incredibly slow 500 rpm. This has two distinct benefits – firstly that the machine is far quieter in operation than you might expect as the motor is spinning slower than less powerful grinders, and secondly that this results in far less heat being generated during the grinding process. Grinder manufacturers now go to a lot of effort to reduce the heat that is produced during grinding as it damages the delicate flavours in some coffees. This isn’t a problem for the Robur which delivers a perfect shot time after time.

The huge 71mm conical burrs are made using Swedish hardened steel and are considered within the industry to be among the best currently available, meaning they are more durable than many of its’ competitors. The innovative design means they are very easy to calibrate and even easier to clean should you need to access the burrs themselves. Of course you can use cleaning crystals instead and this removes the need to even clean the burrs directly.

The Mazzer Robur coffee grinder weighs around 28 kilograms and is so well engineered that you can expect it to last and last. The attractive finish and very elegant design ensures it looks good wherever you choose to keep it and it will prove to be an investment you can be proud of. Remember that we also stock a range of accessories and replacement parts should you need them, such as spare coffee bean hoppers, doser lids, grinder burrs and much more. We also stock the correct cleaning products you will need to keep your new Mazzer grinder in top condition.

We always point out to our customers that Mazzer grinders are tested at the factory in Italy and therefore some coffee grounds may occasionally be found in the grinder as a result. All machines sold are brand new and are factory sealed in their original boxes.
