Birchall Organic Redbush Loose Leaf Tea (125g)

Birchall Organic Redbush is a gorgeous red rooibos tea made using the soft needle-like leaves from a wild South African plant called the Aspalathus linearis. Birchall's organically grown, pure origin redbush tea produces a gently hydrating infusion, rich in anti-oxidants and naturally caffeine free, making it a light and healthy way to lift your day and ideal for drinking in the evening or before bedtime.

In order to ensure the very highest quality, Birchall expertly sources the best grade rooibos of all from the stunning Cederberg Mountains in South Africa's Western Cape Province. This is what gives Birchall Organic Redbush its natural deep red colour, soothing aroma and clear sweet taste. It's also rich in anti-oxidants and is naturally caffeine free.

The tea is packed in attractive boxes and is Rainforest Alliance certified.

The Pfunda Tea Estate is widely regarded as Rwanda’s leading tea estate and is situated in the north-west province of the country, 4 hours drive from the capital Kigali, in an area known as the Congo-Nile Crest, above Lake Kivu and below the Nyiragongo Volcano.

Pfunda concentrates on producing the finest tea, focusing on quality not quantity. The very best tea bushes are carefully selected for the estate and the saplings from these are grown in the on-site nursery. When the nursery manager judges them to be ready they are taken out for planting.
