The high altitude, lush volcanic soil and heavy rainfall of this equatorial area combine to create the perfect set of conditions for growing tea of unparalleled flavour and taste.

All of these tea leaves are hand picked for quality. Each box contains 100 string and tag tea bags.

It's a little known fact that most tea bags contains plastics. Birchall's popular tagged tea bags are instead made from a blend of Abaca and other cellulosic fibres and are therefore plastic free. These plant based tea bags can be disposed of in your food waste bin.

This product is carbon neutral and is packed in the first solar powered tea factory in the UK.

Storage - Store in a cool dry place away from strong aromas.

Directions - Infuse at 100 degrees C for 2 minutes. Enjoy with milk or a slice of lemon.
